Cleaning Tips for 2010

For you, how important is cleanliness? Is a house full of mess and dirt appealing for you? I’m sure you don’t. HAving a dirty house is not good but cleaning it every single day is tiring too. Make sure this new year you give your house the cleanliness it deserves.

Plan a schedule. I know most of us are busy with our lives, we work more than 8hours a day, take care of the children, cook meals, run errands, etc. We cannot commit hours for cleaning and sometimes we prefer not to. The better way is to manage your hectic schedule and find time where you can have a one on one session with your house.

Motivate yourself. Cleaning is not everyone’s thing and we would not want to make ourselves miserable by doing it. Ask yourself first, are you cleaning because you are asked to do so or you want to clean because you want to? Look forward to the positive outcome. Have fun cleaning. Wear comfortable clothes, put on a good music, and reward yourself after doing it.

Create a plan. If there’s no pnal of attack, inefficiency occurs. Before starting, plan on what part of the house you will begin cleaning. You can touch all the areas of the house if you have the sense of direction.

Mix your own cleaning solutions. Though you can buy commercialized cleaning solutions. But in the middle of your cleaning session and you find out that you ran out of this and that, it is hassle to dress up again and head to the nearest store. You can use alternatives you can find in your own home. Ammonia with 3 parts of water in an empty spray bottle can be used to clean windows, appliances and countertops. Full strength it can remove wax build-up from the kitchen floor. Copper and brass can be scoured using 1/2 cup vinergar mixed with 1 tablespoon salt. To deodorize garbage cans and scrubbing the kitchen and bathroom floor, use pine oil in full strength. To remove stains and odors from refrigerators and coffee pots, you can also use baking soda instead of scouring powder. To freshen the carpeting, sprinkle a dry baking soda before vacuuming.

Green cleaning. Cleaning Do not limit cleaning only inside your house and around your front yard and back yard. Include also the environment. It is not difficult or complicated. Start in a simple way. Say no to toxins and bettering your home which impacts the bigger picture. Make your own cleaners, switch to eco-friendly alternatives. Save water, observe proper waste disposal and recycle.

Our house should be our protection right? If you do your job well, it can do its job well for you too. The number one job you have to do to your house is to keep it clean. Having not enough time is not a hindrance of keeping your house clean. The home is where everything starts, so it is better to keep it safe and clean.

  1. We have redefined the meaning of “clean” with new cleaning technology and germ killing products that obliterate up to 99.99999% of illness causing germs. Here’s how: http://www.cleanphirst.com/cleaning-information-news/2009/11/germ-killing-products.html
