Easy Way to Find Do-Follow Blogs

U Comment I FollowToday’s post is to show you a creative little way of finding do-follow blogs, so that you can post comments on them and get some link juice from the search engines. Before I get into the details of this, I would like the record to state that this is not a very ethical method of doing SEO. It’s not black hat, but it’s just not the way the search engines intended for you to get backlinks.

Yeah, Yeah, Show Me How to Do It Already!

It’s really simple. You see, a long time ago somebody had the smarts to come up with the term “U Comment I Follow”. And it became a very popular catch phrase in the blogosphere. There was even a really cool plugin with that name that posted the image you see above on your blog, signifying that your comments were do-follow.

With me so far? Good!

Now whoever created the plugin called all the images “u-comment-i-follow.jpg” or “u-comment-i-follow.gif”. And since most people are too lazy to change their plugin code and edit image names, there are now hundreds of blogs out there with that exact image somewhere on their site.

Have you figured out the trick yet?

No? Are you sure? You’re going to kick yourself when I tell you how to abuse this…

Here’s a hint – Google Image Search.

I think I see a light bulb going on over your head, that’s great! You’re thinking that all you need to do is search for that specific image and you’ll get a list of sites that use it. See, that wasn’t too hard now was it?

So what you do now is to go Google Image Search and search for “u comment i follow”, you’ll get about 700 results. If you want to push it even further, run the search without the double quotes and you’ll get somewhere around 12 million results. That’s all the blog link juice you’ll ever need, now you just need to take the time to actually comment on all of them.

    Heh, I thought of this when I was puting that image on my website and I changed the name of it. I’m not sure I want people to find my website and make comments just to mooch some link juice.

    I found an even better way. You can use http://www.followtopia.com . It indexes as many pages as yahoo, and lets you know if a page has nofollow tags or not. Optimize away!

    Scarica – (interesting name btw), I don’t delete comments because people disagree or don’t like what is posted. I only delete spam usually, unless it’s outright insulting or has no purpose.

    With that said, yes you can do this in other ways. I know of a dozen different ways of hunting down dofollow links, but I wanted to post something easy that anybody can do :)

    There are many more tools now to find do follow blogs. Even there are several lists available but they are spammed heavily. Anyways, I am able to collect almost 1000 blogs and they are pretty well. Although it took plenty of time but I am enjoying it now.

    I know many blogs who are no more do follow, Why? I think commenters all over the world always have the tendency to ruin everything in their hand. So we altogether spammed them very well :(
    I think we should have new ways and tips to find new blogs and we shouldn’t make them public. I have many blogs and I never mind a comment as a link if I can find something related in that but I can see comments like ” yes, it is good design”, ” Thanks for this and that”. That is really ridiculous.

    google image has really brought many visitors for me also. I suggest you put in lots of images in your website if you want to gain more traffic. Don’t forget to add the alt tag and watch out for the image size as it can make your page load longer if the size is rather big.
