PCOS Infertility
By Christian Little • Jul 9th, 2010 • Category: ARGH!Irregular menstrual periods are often related to fertility problems and are also another symptom of PCOS.
Fertility gives life. So when someone has fertility issues this may mean that she is infertile and cannot get pregnant or is having problems doing so. Women who get pregnant but have repeated miscarriages (An end to pregnancy at a stage when the fetus is not ready to survive) are also sometimes thought of as infertile.
People who have PCOS tend to be infertile due to not ovulating. Failure to ovulate means no mature egg was released through the fallopian tube to the uterus for fertilization. Fertilization is the union of sperm and the egg cell to produce an embryo which can be defined as the “start of life”. If there is no mature egg no fertilization can occur.
The cause is still unknown though many doctors believe that PCOS is caused by a hormonal imbalance. More than likely being above normal male sex hormones and insulin. It is also widely thought to be genetic which means it may possibly be passed down from parent.
A woman with PCOS tends to have above average testosterone levels. Normally women will have a low testosterone levels and higher estrogen levels. But this increase in testosterone levels interferes with the egg cell production. The eggs that should develop become cysts and aren’t released during ovulation. This prevents conception due to there being no egg cell to be fertilized by the sperm. No fertilization means there is no conception.
PCOS fertility problems affect the majority of women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. PCOS is the most common reason for infertility among the female population. It also affects 5% of the whole female population of woman.

Additional than anything my husband and I wanted a baby, we had been trying for a year with no success. My husband bought each book and program on the marketplace . We were testing for ovulation everyday and saving up our baby producing time for just when that little stick turned pink. Our next step was infertility treatment, we had been avoiding it due to the fact our insurance would not cover it and for IVF and every thing that came with it , we have been seeking at close to $30,000.00. Until we finally discovered some thing that worked, This really is what worked for us and I am proud to tell other persons about it The Pregnancy Miracle. I hope with all my heart this assists you and like me you too realized the joy of having a child.
